What is a Family Legacy Memoir Video?

Our videos are exactly like the name says, legacy memoirs. It’s your life’s story, history, and memories told specifically by you. We capture your version of your life and carefully edited into a video.

Is it a private session?

“Privacy is a big factor when interviewing clients. We’ve found that with others being in the room, folks can be more reserved. We ask the client to be in the room. We want each client to feel free to talk about whatever they would like. So, for privacy, we provide a Non-Disclosure Form (NDA) before filming.”

What will I be asked to answer?

“We will ask a variety of leading questions in the interview. Many of those are open-ended, which may lead to more questions based on the client’s responses. We will ask if there are specific questions they want asked, or topics we should completely avoid.”

Do you research your clients? ( The Professionalism)

"We don't perform outside research because we want to hear the story exactly as you remember it. We are 'blank canvases' for your truth, ensuring your video is 100% your perspective, free from outside influence or bias."

Do you narrate the video?

“We remove our voice for the client to provide their own emotional experiences. However, with tiles, music, and photos, we can premier their story”.

What measures do you take to keep “secrets” exactly that “a secret’?

“We provide an NDA - Non Disclosure Agreement before filming."

How should I prepare for the video? (The Luxury/Comfort)

"Preparation is two-fold: We provide a luxury experience with a professional hair and makeup team so you look your best, but we also provide our Family Legacy Planner. This helps you reflect on your 'Making a Way' moments and 'Family Values' before the cameras start rolling."

Do I have to talk about painful memories?"

“Not at all. You are the director of your story. Our 'Making a Way' section allows you to share your resilience at your own pace. You decide what is shared and what remains private."

Who owns the video once it's done?

"You do. This is your family heirloom. We safeguard the footage with total confidentiality and deliver the final legacy film to you to be treasured by your loved ones whenever you choose to reveal it."
